Savoring our last year of family dinners

Family dinners at our house are central — and centering.  After long, busy days, gathering together over a meal (and then clean-up!) is the heart of our family time.  But as we prepare for our youngest child to leave the nest, we relish our time together.  In the meantime, I worry; while our daughter goes out to find new adventures, where does it leave my husband, and me, after 20 years of having a busy household?  See this Washington Post article to follow my exploration of  a future life without the kids.
