Quick and Spicy Party Cashews Recipe

Looking for something quick for a party or a snack? These cashews fit the bill and this recipe is one my family loves.

Quick and Spicy Party Cashews - Aviva Goldfarb

Prep + Cook = 10 Minutes

Makes approximately 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. curry powder
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups unsalted cashews

Instructions:

In a small bowl, combine the 5 dry spices including the salt.  Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. When it is hot, add the cashews and toss them to coat with the oil. Add the spice mixture and coat the nuts. Cook them, tossing occasionally, until the nuts are hot and the spices start to get darker brown, about 5 minutes.  Remove them from the heat and let them cool, then serve immediately or store them in a covered container for up to a month.
